DUEX does not give refunds. All fees are final and non-refundable. The Free plan exists so you can evaluate the service thoroughly before paying.
1. The policy
All fees paid to DUEX are non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- monthly and annual subscription fees;
- additional seat charges;
- any unused portion of a billing period after cancellation;
- periods during which you did not use the service;
- fees paid before an account is terminated for breach of the Terms of Service;
- fees paid before a change in pricing or features.
2. Why
Every paid tier has a free path to evaluation. The Free plan gives you a real runner, real playbooks, real approval gates and real evidence against one repository — the complete mechanism, not a demo. You can confirm DUEX does what you need before spending anything.
Because that evaluation is available to everyone at no cost and with no time limit, we do not offer refunds afterwards.
3. Cancelling
- Cancel at any time from the billing section of the console.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- You keep access until then. No partial refund is given for the remainder.
- After that you revert to the Free plan; your data is retained per the Privacy Policy.
4. AI provider charges
DUEX does not resell AI usage. Charges from Anthropic, OpenAI or any other provider are billed to you directly under your own account. We cannot refund them, including where usage was higher than you expected or resulted from an agent behaving unexpectedly.
Budget limits in DUEX control whether new work is dispatched. They are not a spend guarantee and cannot halt a provider call already in progress. Set your own limits with your provider as well.
5. Failed payments
If payment fails we may downgrade you to the Free plan or suspend access. Restoring a paid plan requires a successful payment; no credit is given for the lapsed period.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback rather than contacting us, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately and decline future service. Please write to [email protected] first — if we have made a genuine billing error, we will correct it.
7. Statutory rights
DUEX is sold only to customers in the United States. There is no general federal right to cancel an online software subscription for a refund, and this policy is enforceable accordingly.
Nothing here removes a right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable United States federal or state law. Where such a right exists, it prevails over this policy to the extent of the conflict.
8. Termination for abuse
Accounts terminated for abuse or suspected abuse receive no refund of any kind. See Terms of Service, section 7.
